My name is Tom Pennea; I have an extensive construction background in New York and Florida starting in 1970 after returning from military service in Vietnam. Eventually, I became the manager of the garage door division of “United Shelving & Garage Doors” in Debary, FL. I managed the company for 15 years until it was acquired. I spent another year as a manager for the company that bought United. I retired for a short time, but it became evident after several months that retirement was not what I was intended to do. After numerous phone calls and some cajoling, I decided to create a new company with my partner Joe Hogan.

I have always wanted to do it better than everyone else. I saw an opportunity to achieve that with my partner Joe. He was an installer for me for eight years and his hard work and knowledge during those years proved to me; he was the right partner.

Joe and I have the same ideals and motivation to do the job right the first time, to do it at an affordable price and to never leave a customer unhappy.

My name is Joe Hogan, I have a mechanical background, and when I started to install garage doors 16 years ago, I realized how much all the mechanical knowledge I had would come into play installing and repairing garage doors and operators.

Tom and I worked together for ten years and formed a great working relationship before becoming partners. Our views and outlooks are the same, and we both realize how important it is to do the job right and always leave the customer satisfied.
